The Latecoere 631 was one of the largest and most ambitious flying boats ever built. Designed in France during the late 1930s and completed after World War II, it was intended for transatlantic passenger flights. With a wingspan of over 63 meters and powered by six engines, the Latecoere 631 was a symbol of luxury and technological innovation. However, despite its impressive size and advanced design, the aircraft had a troubled operational history, including several accidents, and was ultimately retired in the early 1950s. Today, it remains an iconic example of the golden age of flying boats.
